Australia’s active hospital-based surveillance for severe childhood disease
The 2018 PAEDS annual face to face meeting was held at Queensland Children’s Hospital (formerly Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital) in Brisbane on 2 and 3 August 2018. Attendees included PAEDS and grant investigators, nurses, state health bodies, grant funding partners and Translation to Immunisation Policy and Practice Advisory Group (TIPPAG). The productive 2-day session covered the vision for PAEDS, the operations and strategic priorities and was enjoyable and provided a valuable opportunity to catch up with our fellow PAEDS colleagues.
